Nutrition is an essential factor in each child’s growth and development. The first few years in a child’s life are critical years for growth and brain development. It is also a time when children begin to form eating habits that last a lifetime.
Kids 3 Daycare is committed to supporting the children’s nutritional needs and promoting healthy eating habits. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for all children daily. Lunch is provided for children not yet in school. Menus are planned based on the guidelines of the most current Canada Food Guide using quality products and ingredients to support children’s healthy development. Lunches and snacks are planned for the children at appropriate times and food is provided in sufficient quantities in accordance with the needs of each child. We are a NUT FREE FACILITY. And we also offer Halal & Vegetarian food.
We strive to serve foods the children enjoy, taking family and children’s preferences into consideration when planning menus. Menus are posted where they are clearly visible to keep families informed of all foods served at the center, allowing parents to see what the child has been served to facilitate planning meals at home.
